VOCATIONAL TRAININGS

TRAININGS THAT EMPOWER

Purpose and Importance

The Chifundo Epilepsy Awareness Foundation’s Vocational Training Programs are designed to empower individuals with epilepsy and their caregivers by providing them with practical skills that can lead to economic independence and improved quality of life. These programs address the socio-economic challenges faced by people with epilepsy, helping them to become self-reliant and productive members of their communities.

VOCATIONAL TRAININGS

EQUIPING OUR CLIENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED

Impact and Achievements

Economic Independence: Many of our program graduates have started their own businesses or found gainful employment, leading to economic independence. This has significantly improved their quality of life and reduced their dependence on external support.

Enhanced Self-Esteem: Participants gain a sense of accomplishment and self-worth from acquiring new skills and becoming financially self-sufficient. This boost in self-esteem positively impacts their overall well-being and mental health.

Community Development: Our vocational training programs contribute to the economic development of the communities we serve. Successful participants often hire others, creating job opportunities and stimulating local economies.

Sustainable Livelihoods: By providing practical skills and business training, we ensure that participants can build sustainable livelihoods. This stability is crucial for their long-term success and resilience against socio-economic challenges.

Inclusive Opportunities: Our programs promote inclusivity by ensuring that individuals with epilepsy, who are often marginalized, have equal opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
